Work on controlling your mind

Hang out with people who can challenge your mind

Be open minded to other people’s point of view and opinions, discuss topics that you may want to learn from them, and gain insights with understanding of the experiences and studies you have never known before.

Always be willing to have deep and meaningful conversations instead of small talks and avoiding them at all. What might seem uncomfortable and intimidating right now might be a step towards your purpose later on.

Do new things that are unfamiliar to you

We learn from experience, so what’s stopping you from trying out new things. If what you are doing yesterday is the same thing as what you did yesterday, with no growth in between, that could be a problem. The goal isn’t that we would receive 1% more than yesterday in terms of results, but in terms of growth.

Challenge yourself in new ways and be able to apply your gained knowledge to improve your everyday life.

Learn to Write more

Whether in a journal of in a blog, write more!

Even writing in medium isn’t as easy as I thought it would be since it is a completely different format and for a new set of eyes. This is still growing me every day as I am learning to be more creative with my words and is pushing me to be a further writer every day.

People will pay for copywriters that they believe in, and that belief is in the form of cash. If you believe in your own writing, you might not be able to show it in paying yourself, but you can pay the time and attention it takes to create a great piece of writing.

Learn a new skill and make it a habit to improve regularly

Learning a new skill ensured that you keep yourself challenged and helps your brain stay active. The cognitive part of our brain is one that is engaged when we are learning or observing, so the best way to keep that region of our minds active is to continue to learn new skills.

When we continue to learn new skills we are showing our brains that we are open to learning and improving ourselves to become a better person than I was yesterday.

Meditate

Almost in all my advice writing, this one is applies to every area of life.

Mediating changes the structure of the brain, it will help you become more focused, makes your feel less stressed, healthier, and self-composed. Mediation also gives you a lot of knowledge about yourself that you really don’t always notice.

Meditating every day will help develop self-awareness of what is going on inside your mind that can help control all the negative thoughts that you have and improve emotional intelligence.

Listen and ask questions

Wisdom implies listening.

When you struggle with listening, you want to be heard. The irony is that those who struggle with listening, are never heard.

Those who walk with wisdom daily don’t usually struggle with this part. They realize that they have so much to learn, and you won’t learn anything with your mouth open.
