Once upon a time, there was a young boy who lived in a small village nestled in the mountains. He had always been curious about the world beyond his village and longed to explore the unknown. One day, he decided to set out on an adventure to discover the secrets of the world.

As he traveled, he encountered many people who told him stories of the different types of luck that existed. He was told of “Blind Luck” — the luck that was completely out of his control, based on where he was born, who his parents were, and the circumstances of his birth. “Acts of God” were also a part of this type of luck.

The boy also learned about “Luck from Motion” — the luck that came from creating motion and collisions through hustle and energy. He was told that by simply moving and taking action, he could increase his luck surface area, opening himself up to more lucky events.

As he journeyed on, he met a wise old man who taught him about “Luck from Awareness.” The old man explained that the depth of understanding within a given arena allows one to become very good at positioning oneself for lucky breaks due to knowledge and experience.

Finally, the boy met a young girl who was unique in her own way. She told him about “Luck from Uniqueness” — the luck that comes from one’s unique set of attributes, which attracts specific luck.

As the boy reflected on all the different types of luck he had learned about, he realized that luck was not just something that happened to him, but something that he could actively create for himself. He understood that by taking action, gaining knowledge, and embracing his unique qualities, he could increase the chances of lucky events occurring in his life.

“Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity” said Dr. James Austin, a neurologist who wrote about the four types of luck.

The boy continued his journey with a newfound sense of purpose and determination. He hustled and worked hard, gaining knowledge and understanding of the world around him. He embraced his unique qualities and attracted luck that was specific to him.

Through his journey, the boy learned that luck is not just something that happens to you, but something that you can actively create for yourself. He understood that by taking action, gaining knowledge, and embracing his unique qualities, he could increase the chances of lucky events occurring in his life.

As the boy returned to his village, he shared his newfound wisdom with the people. They were amazed at the insights he had gained and the luck he had attracted on his journey. And from that day on, the villagers lived their lives with purpose, determination, and an understanding that they had the power to create their own luck.
