Kold Kael
I woke up to the sound of alarms blaring in my ears. My head was throbbing and my ankle felt like it was on fire, but I knew that I had to keep moving.
I sat up and looked around, trying to get my bearings. We were in the cockpit of the ship, and it was shaking violently as we crashed through the atmosphere.
I saw Mia standing at the controls, her face a mask of concentration as she tried to keep the ship on course.
“Come on,” she said, glancing over at me. “We need to get this thing under control. Can you help me fly it?”
I nodded and stumbled to my feet, gritting my teeth against the pain in my ankle. I made my way over to the controls and stood next to Mia, trying to remember everything I had learned in flight school.
But as I looked at the unfamiliar controls and readouts, I knew that this was going to be a tough task. We were flying a Zoraxian ship, and neither of us were experts in their technology.
Just as I was starting to feel overwhelmed, a voice spoke up from the back of the cockpit.
“I can help,” said the co-pilot.
I turned to see a tall, slender alien with shimmering blue skin and a pair of delicate wings on his back. He was wearing a collar around his neck, and I could see the pain and fear in his eyes.
“I’m Kael,” he said, his voice shaking. “I was a slave of the Zoraxians, but I know their ships. I can help you fly this one.”
I nodded, grateful for any help we could get. “We’ll take it,” I said. “We need all the help we can get.”
Kael nodded and joined us at the controls, quickly showing us how to stabilize the ship’s descent. As we worked together, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of admiration for him. Despite everything he had been through, he was still fighting for his freedom.
As we flew towards the surface of the alien merchant planet, I could feel the tension in the air. We had no idea what we were going to find down there, and I knew that we had to be ready for anything.
But I was determined to see this through. I was a soldier, fighting for my country and my people. And I would do whatever it took to protect them.
As we flew through the clouds, I couldn’t help but overhear a conversation between Mia and Kael. They were flirting with each other, their voices low and intimate. I couldn’t help but feel a twinge of jealousy, knowing that I could never have what they had.
But I pushed those feelings aside and focused on the task at hand. We had to land this ship safely, no matter what.
As we neared the surface, I could see the landscape rushing up to meet us. It was a barren, rocky terrain, dotted with strange, alien structures.
I held my breath as Mia expertly guided the ship towards a flat, open area. We touched down with a jolt, and I let out a sigh of relief.
We had made it.
As we exited the ship, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of awe. We were on an alien planet, far from home. And we had no idea what was in store for us.
