Took me 30min to write this.
A guide to a productive day
This isn’t a post to make you buy my self-help book, nor do I have an indication for you to read. Full disclosure, in my quiet years of school, I read a few less-corny self-help books to target some of my insecure strengths.
Lost you? Hope not.
Insecure Strengths
A phrase I believe many do not use enough in their twenties, where we like to focus all of our time on downplaying what we are good at, and take courses on things we are not good at or passionate about because “it will make me money”.
I will save you some time. No it won’t.
Best Course on Life
Let’s agree that to be great in anything, you need the theoretical and the practical. Psychologists study, but they open up practices, and based on that they become better, a little study and practice creates greatness. Best basketball players study films on what happened wrong in a play, what they did wrong in their shot, or what move someone else did and try to learn that.
The Bible is our theory, but so many refuse to practice.
I do too, instead I subscribe for newest course backed behind Google on tech, or a Bible course backed by Liberty University, but the best course available is the course of action.
I understand that many who may read this are either not making enough money, not qualified enough to land their dream job, not attractive enough to find a beautiful person (and I would love to convince you otherwise but let’s continue with your insecurities like Peter did off the boat). If you are tired of where the boat is going, then you need to get out of the boat.
You can try to walk, or you can try to swim, it is up to you, but you need to get up and do something. It take one moment to walk out of the boat to save you a lifetime of “getting ready”. You are prepared.

Sure, we need people that know what they are doing, but having someone who is willing to learn on the way is what creates humility.
Still Don’t Believe Me?
Even though who I am is public-facing information I will disclose that my best friend works on TV sets and handles multimillion dollar location budgets for
TV shows and do they know what they are doing? No!
Surely their boss knows what they are doing? No!
They have some procedure though? Nope!!
Any precedent to follow? Oh No!!
Making your first ______ only takes for you try, and push yourself. You will never know what is impossible if you only listen to people, only when you venture out of possible you find the impossible.
Full Disclosure: This isn’t my usual writing style, nor do I believe that this would be remotely sustainable, but it mirrors how I think through an idea and push to find motivation.
