Ava woke up to the sound of muffled voices and movement coming from the pod bay. She quickly got dressed and made her way to the source of the noise. As she entered the pod bay, she saw Mia standing there, her arms crossed and a worried look on her face.

“Mia, what’s going on?” Ava asked, her voice filled with concern.

Mia’s expression softened and she looked down at the ground. “It’s Kaiden,” she said, her voice barely above a whisper. “He’s gone.”

Ava’s heart sank as she realized what had happened. “What do you mean he’s gone? Where did he go?”

“He left to go back to headquarters,” Mia replied, her voice filled with sadness. “He said he had to report on the mission.”

Ava felt her anger rising. “How could you let him go?” she exclaimed, her voice filled with frustration. “You’re so soft, Mia. You couldn’t even stop him from leaving.”

Mia’s eyes filled with tears and she turned away from Ava. “I’m sorry,” she said, her voice cracking with emotion. “I couldn’t force him to stay. I didn’t want to argue with him and make things worse.”

Ava felt a pang of guilt as she saw the hurt in Mia’s eyes. She knew she had been harsh and she didn’t mean to hurt her. “Mia, I’m sorry,” she said, her voice filled with remorse. “I didn’t mean to hurt you. I just feel so frustrated and helpless.”

Mia nodded, but didn’t say anything. She just wiped away her tears and ran away from the pod bay, leaving Ava alone with her thoughts and regrets. Ava felt a wave of emotions wash over her, anger, guilt, frustration and sadness.

Mia couldn’t believe Kaiden had left and she couldn’t stop him, and the thought that they couldn’t save Mia’s planet without him made her heart heavy. She knew she had to do something, she couldn’t just stand by and watch everything fall apart.

Crying, Mia made her way back to her room, her mind racing with a plan to bring Kaiden back and save Mia’s planet. She knew it wouldn’t be easy, but she was determined to do whatever it takes to make it happen.

Kael sat alone in the ship’s mess hall, nursing a cup of coffee as he tried to process the events of the past few hours. He couldn’t believe Kaiden had left to report back to headquarters, leaving the rest of the crew behind. He knew Kaiden had a duty to follow orders, but he couldn’t shake the feeling that they were abandoning Mia and her planet.

As he sat there, lost in thought, Ava entered the mess hall. She looked around and spotted Kael, making her way over to him. “Kael, have you seen Mia?” she asked, her voice filled with concern.

Kael shook his head. “No, I haven’t seen her since she ran away from the pod bay,” he replied, his voice heavy with worry.

Ava let out a sigh, her shoulders slumping. “I feel terrible,” she said, her voice filled with remorse. “I hurt her and I didn’t mean to. I just feel so frustrated and helpless.”

Kael nodded, understanding her feelings. “It’s understandable, Ava. We all feel that way. But we can’t let Kaiden’s decision to leave tear us apart. We have to stick together and find a way to complete our mission and help Mia’s planet.”

Ava nodded, a determined look in her eyes. “You’re right, Kael. We have to stay strong and keep fighting for what’s right. We can’t let Kaiden’s decision to leave defeat us.”

Kael stood up and placed a hand on Ava’s shoulder. “Let’s go find Mia and talk to her. We’ll figure out a way to move forward together.”

With renewed determination, Ava and Kael set off to find Mia and come up with a plan to complete their mission and save Mia’s planet. They knew it wouldn’t be easy, but they were determined to see it through to the end, no matter what obstacles they faced.
